Critic's Review:
The first in a series of Harry James radio appearances issued on LP by the collector's label Joyce, this enjoyable swing set features the James Orchestra when it had such sidemen as trombonists Ziggy Elmer and Juan Tizol, Corky Corcoran on tenor, altoist Herbie Steward and drummer Buddy Rich. Paula Gilbert takes four vocals, and otherwise Harry James's music is similar to Count Basie's during the period. High points of this hard-to-find LP include "Sugarfoot Stomp," "Symphony," "Flash" and "Easy." ~ Scott Yanow, All Music Guide
