Critic's Review:
Barrington Levy, one of reggae's golden voices, straddles the fence between dancehall and roots material on his major label debut. Levy is better suited to love tunes and traditional material than the busy, hip-hop-influenced contemporary dancehall sound, but he still manages to sound interested when doing songs like "Work," "Vice Versa Love," and "Go There." But those aware of Levy's glorious, swirling style and incandescent voice will be more pleased by his remake of the classic "Under Me Sensi," the powerful "Murderer," and "Nothing's Changed," tunes that showcase his vocal might rather than his ability to incorporate it into a sea of production gimmicks. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
