Words Knot Music is a long collection of poetry and spoken word thoughts packaged together with some background noise for an interesting and thought-provoking experience. This is obviously not your typical hip-hop album, and it can't be expected to provide the same style as he's exhibited as part of the Visionaries. This is a fresh concept that is obviously not an attempt to sell more records or appeal to a wide audience, which is something that should interest a few underground rap fans. Other MC's get their chance to shine on this album as well, including pieces from Circus of Shapeshifters, Visionaries members Key Kool, LMNO, and Zen, and quite a few others. Not for everyone, but if you like abstract blends of tripped-out thoughts, this will at least make you think. ~ Brad Mills, All Music Guide
