Our ratings and recommendations services are designed to help you discover new movies that match your tastes. By rating a movie, you add to our database of ratings across the entire MSN community of users. We use the collective ratings of all MSN users to calculate the average star-rating of any movie. We also can use these ratings to recommend new movies. 

You can rate movies anywhere on the site where you see a row of stars near a movie. You'll be prompted to "Sign in" with your Passport account to ensure these ratings will be tied to you, no matter which computer you use to access our site.  Be sure to rate movies that you dislike as well as the ones that you love. The more movies you rate, the more we will improve our service to meet your tastes, and the more you can help others in the MSN community discover new movies that match their tastes.
