Country Style (Revisited)

Johnny Cash: As the original Man in Black, Johnny Cash managed to look righteous, romantic and full of grace all at once. In his trademark lone-wolf-in-the-shadows accouterments, Cash created an aesthetic template that has influenced the music world almost as much as timeless tracks such as "Folsom Prison Blues" and "I Hold the Line." That said, Cash's style is one more revered than copied. No one wants to be called a Johnny Cash rip-off – just an echo of his timeless style is enough to create the desired hard-sensitive gravitas of the great man.
