If the Beatles were to release their songs in these modern times, the music would still be as popular as when they were first released. Their music is timeless, the lyrics so thought-provoking and appealing. George Harrison's guitar work would have inspire other guitarists, just as he did in the past. There is not enough positive words available to describe the impact this band had on the musical landscape. I am forever grateful for their songs, especially Across the Universe, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Come Together, Here Comes the Sun, While My Guitar Gentle Weeps. Classic songs that will forever live in my heart.

I loved the Beatles from the first time I heard them from the backseat of my father's car on WABC, or W-A-Beatle-C as Cousin Brucie used to say, and I feel the same today. While I am no longer a smitten teenager, I have shared my love of the group, their music and pretty much everything about them with my children and now my grandchildren. They appreciate their phenominal contribution to music as so many of today's musicians do. Many say they owe their love of music to listening to and imitating the lads from Liverpool! They are in my heart, are part of my soul, and I am grateful to have been part of their generation.
