Performing at the South Africa Concert
One of the more inspiring acts in the music world, the Soweto Gospel Choir is the brainchild of choir directors
David Mulovhedzi and Beverly Bryer. The choir's inspiring career has been one
accolade after the next. In 2003, they won Best Gospel Choir at the American
Gospel Music Awards and played on both the "Today" show and "Late Night With
Conan O'Brien." Their 2005 release, "Voices From Heaven," topped Billboard's
World Music chart, and this year, they won a Grammy for their record
"Blessed."
