Performing at the Germany Concert

Sporting matinee-idol looks, Sascha Schmitz has been releasing records on Warner Brothers since 1998. His first record, "Dedicated To & ," went platinum on the strength of the single "I'm Still Waitin'." During the next few years, Sascha watched his audience grow, winning both a Bambi and an ECHO award. From 2003 to 2005, he fronted the rockabilly band Dick Brave & the Backbeats, and their record, "Dick This!," became his first No. 1. In 2006, he resumed his career as Sasha with "Open Water."
