Performing at the Australia concert
Paul Kelly is an Australian institution, having served as one
of the most skilled chroniclers of the land's contemporary sentiments and
historical progression. After Kelly, with his band, the Messengers, gained more
than a few minutes of international fame as a guitar rocker in the '80s, Kelly
kept up a constant presence on the touring circuit as well as on his more
intimate, lyrically potent solo records. His most recent releases include his
own "Ways & Means," a bluegrass effort with the Stormwater Boys, and an
intriguing surf-instrumental work, "Stardust Five."
