Performing at the Germany Concert

Though the two bands sound absolutely nothing alike, it's not out of line to call Mando Diao Sweden's biggest export since ABBA. Unlike their fellow countrymen, however, these Swedes deal in the darker side of the human experience, but without sacrificing beauty alongside the grit. Their third album, the punky, rocking "Ode to Ochrasy," is threatening to make them a global—as well as a European— sensation.
