Performing at the Brazil Concert

Is there a more memorable voice in R&B than Macy Gray? This Canton, Ohio native made a big splash with her 1999 debut, "On How Life Is," netting a Grammy for "I Try," the album's mega-hit single. In 2003, she scored a critical hit with "The Trouble With Being Myself," and in 2005, she opened the successful Macy Gray Academy in Hollywood, a performing arts school for underprivileged children. Her latest release, this year's "Big," features collaborations with Fergie and Justin Timberlake.
