Performing at the Brazil Concert

Originally named Johnny Quest, Jota Quest hail from the Minas Gerais state of central Brazil, and sport a mixture of funk, rock, and dance-floor grooves. Their first release, 1996's J. Quest, established their disco-tinged, 70s sound, and spawned the hit single, "As Dores do Mundo." 2002 saw the release of the harder-edged Jota Quest, propelling them to top-tier success in Brazil, and later that year, they played to 80,000 people in their home-town of Belo Horizonte. Their latest record is 2005's Até Onde Vai.
