Hailing from Hong Kong, Joey Yung is a singer and actress who in the past few years has become one of the biggest pop stars in the Asian music world. Yung had scored a few hits in the early part of the decade, but her career blew up with the 2003 success of the single, "My Pride." The song was so big that it earned the title of "The Most Popular Song in the Nation" by Radio Television Hong Kong. She has won numerous accolades, including the IFPI Best Selling Singer Award, and she stars in the TV drama "On the First Beat."
