Performing at the South Africa Concert

Hailing from South Africa, 29-year-old Danny K has managed to do what few Third World performers have done: break in the States. Since the release of his self-titled debut record, Danny K's audience has steadily gone worldwide, culminating with 2005's "Same Difference," which spawned the hits "Friday" and "Summertime." Subsequently, he appeared onstage with megastars such as Josh Groban, Tina Turner and Stevie Wonder. His new record, "This Is My Time," features the upbeat single "Shorty."
