Performing at the Australia concert

The Melbourne-based roots collective formed by singer Natalie Pa'apa'a and guitarist Carlo Santone makes a very percussive rendition of roots music. Blue King Brown draws from tribal, reggae, transpacific and African jazz sources, backing up the whole affair in dense sound, political commitment and surprisingly strong songwriting. Their debut album, "Stand-Up," gained acclaim for the percolating single, "Water."
