Pop music will always be crap, but the 90's had what most of today stems from, starting with Nirvana in 91. Alice in Chains, The Offspring, NoFX, Green Day, Marlyn Manson, White Zombie and NIN got bigger in the 90's, Korn and a bunch of others all got started in the 90's. So as much as some of you want to disagree with and state the the 90's suck, most of what we have now stems from that era. And by far most of the best music came out then...But each generation had their own selection of some pretty good music. The 70's had another, group of musicians. the disco generation...(which I hated) but it also introduced the progressive rock era. (which I loved). The 80's had all the Big hair bands (a bit of heavy metal) ect...So as you can see Each Generation had their own type of music..and who is to say what is better then the other?? Today's music is not for me. nor was the 90's 2000's 2010..not that they are that bad its just not something that I like its just ..Different... So lets all just agree its different.
